Blue

Sometimes perserverance is hard.

When you look at the cards,

that you've been dealt.

But then I look to you,

and I melt.

Everything I've ever dreamt,

rolled into one.

One tiny, little package of fun.

So cute, innocent, and sweet.

Oh, how I love your squishy feet.

I never knew that it'd be you.

I never knew that I'd be bouncing in blue.

Now I'd never change one freckle, one hair, one roll.

I wouldn't dare change one thing,

because oh! You make my heart sing!

This poem is about:
Me
My family
