Blind and ...

1 Corinthians 1:27 New English Translation (NET Bible)

27 But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong.

Victims of transgressions falling by the wayside

Only the strong survive the onslaught of the day

Searching for survival traveling by only instinct

It seems everybody does it and so the weak will pay

Some almost made it just standing in a daze

In a state of shock having almost lost reality

Waiting for a moment lost in a silent haze

For the executioner to kill in his own banality

It seems that all is justified to live at the expense of others

With one life to pay for the survival of another

The cycle of this death observed in the temporal

Should show humanity that it’s just around the corner
