A Blessing for the Child

Thu, 06/20/2013 - 23:25 -- Knbhall

I am made of clay.

Born from the earth,

Given breath by the wind,

The rivers of my blood flow

Sparked by the fire of my soul.

I am earth-child,

Ignorant in the wisdom of my ancient mother

And wise in my youth.

I know everything and nothing.

I am human,

And I must grow and learn and love,

Becoming my own being and

Leaving behind the good earth.

I am a dream

I leave the earth

Only to find I never left at all

And that all things begin and end in

ME.here)
