Black Woman

I am wild,

I am a black woman.

I have a unique beauty,

I am a black woman.

Resilience is what they use to describe me,

I am a  black woman.

I have beautiful natural curls,

I am a black woman.

My body is smooth and glow with each strut,

I am a black woman.

I age like fine wine and only get better over time,

I am a black woman.

Yes I have my fears,

I am human after all,

I am a black woman.

My skin glisten and shine in the sun,

The sun doesn't burn me it empower me,

I am a black woman.

I strut with my head held high,

I am a black woman.

It is a bounce in every step I take,

I am a black woman.

No one can keep me down,

I am a black woman.

Beats every stereotype given to me,

I am a black woman.

Easy to love and loyal to all,

I am a black woman.

Protect my family,

I am a black woman.

Powerful and continue to grow,

I am a black woman and I am proud to be one.
