Black Fathers...Listen

Tears of your ancestors cry don't do it like we've done

please work to unite the family the battles almost won

don't misuse an abuse the ones you love without remorse for the pain you've caused

satisfying first your own desires while leaving your responsibility on pause

They need now while still growing,

don't let them grow up vaguely knowing...you.
