For The Birds

Location

206 MEADOW VIEW LANE
United States

Snow piles deeper than deep while besides the feeder, the birds feast

Sunflower seeds

One after the other

Picked apart by little beaks

A hard life it seems, how those birds struggle to live

Summer hot and dusty while predators seek to take

Snakes  eating the eggs

Cats pouncing.

Winter comes with vengenace against the Sun

Cold

Frozen

Snow piling deeper than deep

And yet?

All around the feeder

every bird

Everyone,

Sings.
