It started in Idaho
And no, not Ohio.
Where my journey began,
and I later went to Japan.

As a Military kid,
my nickname Sid,
I made a big little world
where my ideas twirled.

I have friends of every color.
My best friend is from another.
But in my big little world with her,
I know my life is awesome for sure.

I have seen the Alamo, Big Buddha, and Mt. Fuji,
but my big little world only contains my friend, a lady.
She makes everything awesome in my big little world.
And when I moved, my tears warped and curled.

Here is a poem to you my friend.
who makes my world awesome even if it ends.
