The Big Bad "Wolf"

Thu, 08/10/2017 - 03:01 -- Alexlyc

I wore red,

a red so vibrant one could spot it a mile away.

I wore red,

when I saw his dark fur coat as I walked everyday.

I wore red,

with a basket in hand I would disobey.

He wore fur,

a dark black mask that would leave someone astray.

He wore fur,

as he covered his scar that he could portray.

He wore fur,

when he lied to get his way.

We would walk,

as he told me stories that he would display.

We would walk,

with his attentiveness he would listen to my wild words and hit replay.

We would walk,

to my grandmother's which he would leave me halway.

Then one day,

with a gentle kiss that would leave me to stray.

He took my hand as we ran faraway.

Now I am older and a little bolder.

My beloved and I watch as our bonfire smolders.

My little red hood, and his dark fur coat.

We are one, and in love.
