Beyond understanding

Psalm 5:3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

3 Lord, in the morning you will hear me;

in the morning I will present my case to you and then wait expectantly for an answer.

A good start, a thought, a word sliding into a rhyme

Little known to myself, the Light seems at a standstill

Life is good, lost in time, with peace in this heart of mine

Isolation, loneliness, it’s so quiet as all is prepared and instilled

All asleep, flesh awake, the mind is blocked from making emotional choices

Somehow as from somewhere, the Light now rules on night's background

Here a tear, faded grief, drawing lines postponed with sorrow’s voices

Anywhere, in this sphere, hidden happiness underlined by a rejoicing sound
