Beyond the mindset

Ecclesiastes 7:23

Human Wisdom is Limited

23 I have examined all this by wisdom;

I said, “I am determined to comprehend this”—but it was beyond my grasp.

24 Whatever has happened is beyond human[d] understanding;

it is far deeper than anyone can fathom.

Beyond the mindset

Searching the scriptures to fill understanding

But without revelation, there’s only emptiness

Maybe all we need to know comes without planning

If Love is set free in us through His Loveliness

Who accepts an opportunity to give “life” for others?

Who does not mind dying to self in quiet harmony?

As all the saints who lived before and didn’t bother

in worry about self just for Christ’s Chosen destiny

I wonder why we mostly cry just for ourselves

It seems our old nature embraces that thirst

The flesh, the mind, and soul really in unison yell

We can’t love others unless we first love self first

Oh! The excuses which rattle at heart’s doorway

Oh! The mats of compromise that cover the hall

leading to the inner chambers where we dearly pay

the price of failures through our lack-less falls

Does faith survive stuffed in some hidden corner?

Can He be found in rooms filled with shadows?

Where is the Light He promised in the morning?

Is He hidden in some closet only for me to know?
