Beyond guessing

Isaiah 53:6 New English Translation (NET Bible)

6 All of us had wandered off like sheep;

each of us had strayed off on his own path,

but the Lord caused the sin of all of us to attack him.

Wandering

I love You Jesus – but how do I know?

Is it just the imprint in my heart?

You are so special. Yes this I know

Do You impart this from the start?

My inner-man knows for sure

My outer on the verge of doubt

How can I survive and endure

without knowing what’s all about?

Your presence is always with me

And Your Spirit can’t let me go

So deep inside I am truly free

and this I do surely know

Is there a dimension far beyond my flesh?

One my mind can’t understand

Is that why my life seems second best

as I travel through this desert land?

Walking on the seashore counting grains of sand

Almost convince myself that I know just enough

Gazing out over the sea in thoughts well-planned

Trying to understand why at times “life” is tough
