Between the Lines

Reading between the lines until the lines fade to white

So snowflakes fall there out of sight, yet glistening like his eyes

As they look through my soul and to my heart, crawling through

My body without tearing it apart. Because he is a gentleman or a

Knight. With hands like silk and a smile so bright. The heavens

squint when he gazes above, he is a radiant being and the one

That I love. Kiss me tender, love me warm, hold me close, our bodies

Form... A perfect heart, three shades of pink, the colors soar beside the

Ink. Sweet butterfly, welcome in, to the fiery hell where my soul may sin.

I know who sent you but hear me out, he should not want me without a

Doubt. So natural and kind with a mystery creeping; my heart's love potion

Ought to be seeping. The stitches unravel, the staples snap too, what

Good is this solid steel lock going to do? Square peg and round hole.

1,001 puzzle. The story we share ends with nothing but trouble. I'll savor it

Lord, each taste is too sweet. My head's feeling fuzzy, now so do me feet.

In my tears, tears of joy, for this one special boy. Does he love me?

Does he not? This will surely never stop.  Read the story once again, do

Not forget it, wrap it in. Internalize, then share what's mine, and keep on

Reading between the lines.
