Better Woman

"Love, true love never actually comes from first sight", these are words that an angel had told me. was it the way how her hair would shine in the moonlight? Was it the way how life just seemed to glow from her caramel toned skin? Was it the way how she could laugh whole heartedly without having any trace of sadness in her eyes? Was it because she was the type who would fight hard for success and not care who was in her path? Tell me, or was it because she had actually made you believe that you and her would actually have forever after?

Beautiful smile, soft as silk, sweetest chocolate, and eyes that was able to peer into the deepest part of ones soul. Late nights that awakened my soul craving more and more, may have lasted for only a blink of an eye but in actuality lasted for eternity. She was heaven's greatest angel. When she would open her mouth her melody had enough power to soothe troubled minds and cause Lucifer himself to sit in silence and listen.

Pennies in my pocket, if only you could understand how many times I would spend fighting my rivals fist by fist, reaching the highest level of volcanic chemistry before cataclysmic eruption. If only you could look into my eyes and see how many tales i had of just us running across highways, walking on edges, just hand in hand testing fate. Proving that love has no need for fear. If only you could understand how many nights I would spend curled up next to my saviour crying, screaming, wishing that you were next to me to hold. To squeeze. To comfort. To teach me how to breathe without you because apparently my heart had forgotten.

Tell me was she a better woman?
