Betrayal

If darkness is all you see,

how do you find the light?

Between fallen friends and uprised foes,

happy ever after, is no where in your sight.

Wrongfully chosen words,

more insomnia than sleep.

The stress of life just piles up,

no more secrets are left for them to keep.

Alas you reach the eye,

of a storm that's all around.

Believed to be a saving grace,

until you're pumbled back to the ground.

This poem made me feel sad and had a powerful example to others, because we have been there.  "A storm that's all around. Believed to be a saving grace, until you're pumbled back to ground." Meaning that you were almost to having peace but instead you fell to the ground harmed?
