The Best Medicine

Some think it’s a touch

And a box of chocolates.

Maybe some flowers,

Or a gesture that brings hope.

It could be the silence

Or the noise.

A big crowed in a small room,

And secret glances.

Time and time again

I’ve seen it all.

The only thing the cures broken hearts

And scared minds

Is laughter.
