Beneath The Snow
Let’s bury ourselves beneath the snow,
Hidden away where no one knows
Let’s freeze ourselves within the ice,
Frozen in time and paradise
Solemn secrets the snow can keep
Wary whispers through the water seep
The pebbles disguise the path we took
The branches hide our secret brook
Let’s lose ourselves among the trees,
Adrift in our prospective dreams
Let’s tangle ourselves in hungry thorns,
Caught up in promises newly sworn
Solemn secrets the snow can keep
Wary whispers through the water seep
The pebbles disguise the path we took
The branches hide our secret brook

You know, I never really thought of winter as paradise, but I see it now. I enjoyed your poem.
I've previously read your poem Autumn's Child last year, and I absolutely loved it. Reading this one I adored the continued theme of seasons and nature, it is obviously something you find very beautiful and you are able to seamlessly express that from your mind to the page so well it makes the reader see it as well. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece.
