Below

Philippians 2:3

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

It should have been so easy … words rising in my thoughts

Before I write them down others cloud their meaning

Why do I forget so easy the words that I sought?

To fit into a poetic sound to express my heart’s gleaning

Deep below the surface are traces of understanding

In strongly guarded chambers priorities reside

Depravity the purpose as comfort underhanded

Guides all my members away from any light

Justified you I rise in the temple of my making

“Selfish” a forbidden phrase in my way of worship

Surely I despise as others like me are faking

Similar issues as my desires that I just like to skip
