To believe in oneself ...

Job 35:1-3

35 Then Elihu answered:

“Do you think this to be just:
when you say, ‘My right before God.’
3 But you say, ‘What will it profit you,’
and, ‘What do I gain by not sinning?’

To believe oneself is right … and accept self as complete

and ignoring your need for more … is the beginning of the end.

You’ll stop the learning cycle … as you became un-teachable

and in that condition … you’ll find soon that you can’t.

Job 35:3 “What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?”

To not sin has its reward … but that treasure is hard to see.

It is not kept in places … to be enjoyed by the flesh

Somewhere stored and guarded for the time that is designed

for a special presentation ... just beyond the “final” step.

“To sin or not too” not the issue ... but to be redeemed is where it lies.

Redemption is not understood … if there is awareness of good in man.

“For all” it is written … There’s no one good but God”

and all is sin outside of Him … that’s hard to understand.

“Christ is good”, we know and so is the Holy Spirit.

Even Heaven is not pure … in God’s eyes.

That’s why we have to die and be completely buried

so we may be resurrected ... in our Lord Jesus Christ.

“To sin or not to sin” ... never was the question.

Even awareness of sin … is not the real issue.

Simply to let Christ live … in a body died to self

for in any other body ... Christ won’t live His mission.
