I'm behind the curtain the same reasons one would be behind closed doors or in the closet.
It's safer, secluded, quieter.
Like free time for my deepest, darkest thoughts to stretch and roam freely.
Behind the curtain I stand,
Not because of fear, being shy or even laziness of not wanting to be in front of the crowd.
