The beginning

Oh my dear,

Before you were born, two stars held hands, and said, "let's run away."

They went to a shady diner on the planet Pluto to devise a plan, when they found a solar gun.

Threatened by the pair, a few plutonians and a martian started up a gun fight, where one of the stars held out the solar gun, closed its eyes, and fired.

The star missed, and a single sunray, with the heat of  a thousand suns was cast off into space, waiting to hit a target.

The star grabbed its partner, escaping the night and hitching a ride on the galactic subway.

The two sat, and laughed. "How great are we to have escaped such a brawl!"

"It, indeed, would've been quite the scrawl."

They got off on the planet La Flor.

They picked roses, tulips, sunflowers, lillies, amaryllis, daffodils, begonias, and marigolds.

Gusts of wind blew, and the flowers slipped through their fingertips.

"No, wait!" they said as the wind carried them in the other direction.

 The adventure continued.

They saved a city on Uranus.

They learned how to fly.

They battled a great evil in the Milky Way sector.

And after years and years of fun,

They withered until gravity carried their starry remains through the galaxy, their spirits following.

One special day, there was vicious swift, and their remains got caught up in the wind on a planet called Earth.

This is where their souls finally laid to rest, for they finally found the beginning of their adventure.

The gun's sunray became the skin on your bones.

The escaped flowers became the hair on your head.

And their starry remains became the freckles on your face.

"Vive."

They said, before they kissed you goodbye, forever.

Love, The beginning
