Because of YOU

Inevitable, preventable, tragic, relieving.

His fault, her fault, their fault, YOUR fault.

Somebody's dead.

For what, because you wanted a fun night out with your friends?

Someone will never wake up again, have breakfast, go to work, see their friends, family; mother, father, sister, brother, grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunt, wife, husband girlfriend, boyfriend, no one.

They're gone.

Because of your mistake.

That woman you just killed was on her way to feed her children, that man you just slaughtered was on his way to propose to his girlfriend of 3 years, that child who was crushed to death was supposed to start his first day of 4th grade tomorrow.

You broke them.

Everybody has a story and theirs just ended because of YOU. Their opportunities are gone. YOU stole their life away and there's nothing you can do to bring them back YOUR one drink too many lead to one death too many

YOUR desire to relive the pain from your break up, your fight with your parents, the fact that you lost your job ended up destroying an innocent life YOU decided to get behind the wheel of that car, no one made you, it was YOUR choice.

Nobody deserves to die because of the lack of responsibility of others

What humanity do we have left if we are killing our own kind?

So think before you drink that sixth drink, think before you get behind the wheel of that car

Because if you did maybe my friend would be alive today.
