Because It Doesn't Last Forever

Location

Don't cry sweet child,

Go out and play.

For someday you'll realize,

What I found out today.

Sorrow and pain,

Yes, it hurts right now.

But don't let it hurt you for too long.

Tomorrow you will see,

It's just a memory.

And you'll understand,

Why it had to be.

See, sweet child,

We all have gone through

This pain and sorrow.

It hurt for the day,

But not tomorrow.

Eventually, you'll look back,

Only to see that it was a blessing:

All of the pain and all of the sorrow,

Made you stronger inside.

So, sweet child, please don't cry.

The world my never blink an eye,

But you'll always remember the pain and sorrow.

You'll also remember the joy and happiness.

But always remember,

Nothing lasts forever.
