Because I loved you
We ended as quick as the ocean blue
I quickly lost how to be true
Everything around me crumpled and was swept away by a ferocious wind that howled as it blew
Everyone walked away as though a deathly disease swept through
I told my mother I never knew
She told me to be strong and look for someone better and new
I spent about four months trying to find myself though I thought I once knew
I was like a leaf drifting on a vast pond no where to go but always floating through
Its been 1 year 3 months and 26 days
However finally I have assurance and know who I am and where I stay
Though there are many things I wish to say
I never ever knew it would've ended that way.
