Butterflies

Such beautiful creatures

We humans only smile about

The beauty in their features

But it is more than that

So much more

For are we not the same as them?

We let our spirits soar

Do we laugh and play

And smile all day?

Or do we only care about the outside?

The features our bodies carry

Is that all butterflies care about?

Is that all they need to be merry?

No, for they do not realize their beauty

They do not see it as we do

We humans should not care either

We should start our lives anew

Butterflies are interesting creatures

They have beauty and so much more

But are we not the same as them?
