Beauty and the Beast

Dangerous things come in various forms.

You may be one of them I still adore.

A rose, oh so pretty, haunted by thorns.

Beauty is hidden in hideous gore.

No need for mirrors or tea-lovers feasts.

Time that is ticking or dim candles light.

One should not compare a beauty to beast.

Your aura, your halo. So warm, so bright.

I will not run from you, nor will I hide.

You think you're a flaw but I think you're art.

Forget your features. I'll be by your side.

You are the monster deep inside my heart.

Dangerous things come in various forms.

You are not one of them, you keep me warm.
