The Beast of Butterflies

Simmer down little butterflies,

Let’s not fill our head with trivial lies.

Such feelings you’ve engulfed me in,

Save me from this mortal ruin you’ve spun.

Wings of love, two hearts you wear upon your back

Butterfly, butterfly you are Eros little attack

Straight from the arrow, you create a havoc

That leaves entangled dwellers with their hearts out plucked

Butterfly, butterfly, see how much I’ve let you in

With colors that’s far from sin,

Once was enough for me to know

Having you leave, has arrived me a place so hollow

Beautiful butterfly you are the master of disguise

Buzzing the words of love advised

Lighting our lives for a while

Webbing countless colliding fates

Beastly butterfly you leave a mess you grate

You’ve spun a ruin you can save

Such feelings of love and hate, you are so knave

This game of love you so praise,

I’ll ask only for you to simmer down little butterflies
