Beacon for the Wild

One job can change my life
When I can wake up to the sun caressing my face
Take nature at its most beautiful, and it's most terrifying
One job can change my life
By calling it not a job but a privilege
To journey in the wild that I was told to fear,to not understand
One job can change my life
Allowing me to forget the degrading lies I battled with
Forget your dream, that's all it is...a dream
Well I tell you now, that dream is a premonition
A life I wish to live in hopes to not only prove them wrong but to be a beacon for those facing such prejudice, such ignorance, such misunderstanding
To be who I am,with the animals I want to understand and not fear
One job can change my life
And that job is Ethology
