To Be A Woman

To be a woman was to be beautiful.

To be quiet.

To be polite, and calming.

To be not-so-bright.

To be too loud or too driven.

To be too sexual or too bland.

To be too tall or too short.

To be too tall or too short.

Or too smart or too dark.

To be a woman was to live in a cage with bars made of

Stereotypes, assumptions, and unrealistic expectations.

But a soul can not live in a cage.

To be a woman.

To be a woman is to multi task.

To be strong and brave.

To be thrown into a world of hate and come out better than when you went it.

To be a women is impossible for the weak and close-minded.

To be a women is an art that has to be perfected over a lifetime.
