To be an Indian

Mon, 01/25/2021 - 00:01 -- Pullu

Neither from the blood,
Running in your veins,
Nor from your,
Documented Nationality.
You are an Indian only,
If you can give everything for it.

This is the land of great Patriots,
Who gave up on their lives,
I am nothing in front of them,
Not even a worm at the very least.
Still I held my head up high and say:
"I am proud to be an Indian".

This poem is about:
My country
