Baseball in the Fall

A sea of azure

A wave of white

The crowd's allure

The energetic night

People cheer loudly

People sit quietly

Parents look on proudly

Parents watch excitedly

Everyone is standing

Everyone is waiting

Our pitcher is commanding

Our hitters are concentrating

It's the games that really matter

It's October and the end is near

Here comes the last batter

Here comes our time to cheer

Hands clasp together in excitement

Hands clutch rally towels tightly

Eyes are vibrant

Eyes look on brightly

Strike! You're out!

Strike! We've made it

All around people begin to shout

All around people are suddenly tight knit

High fives straightaway

High fives that mean so much

Baseball is going to stay

Baseball with a special touch
