Banana Dread

Location

The smell of 'nanas fill the air

I really just can't wait

The oven is so heated now

The bread is surely late

My patience is a'lowering

The smell is just too strong

Excitement fills my every vein

This bread just can't go wrong

I've tried so many times before

This time I hope it works

I baked so hard with all my might

Inside, the sweetness lurks

The timer goes off suddenly

I jump out of my seat

The oven doors are open now

I see my final treat

I know you want to see my bread

All nice and golden brown

But to my horrible surprise

It's burnt again! I frown
