The Ballad of Life

Life is not a game,
You’re born to a name.
The people you meet will drive you insane,
Though most live for that pain.

Some will love you,
But that’s only few.
Because love starts with two,
And may not include you.

Ends draw near,
Leaving only a tear.
People these days, they live in fear,
Just knowing many others will die every year.

Your love will stay at heart,
While you watch others tear apart.
This is just a piece of our Gods art,
Him making it easier for them to be smart.

So this life is really no game,
You’ll make it through the pain.
And you’ll live in fear...
Even when your loved ones are near.
