The Ballad of English Class
Location
In Ancient times there was a tale
That’s not so known to one and all,
A tale of war, a tale of hate
A tale of girls and boys and fate
For the girls there were only two
To themselves they did stay true
Against the boys they did stand
And made them meet their demands
Chorus:
Although outnumbered they did not fail
Up against the mighty males
With their words and not their fists
They made them cower at their wits
The boys were strong but not that smart
Never speaking from the heart
All ways thinking they were best
Treating the girls like unwelcomed guests
The battle started behind Hell’s gate
Each one brought by their own fate
The boys were protected by Aries might
And his powers of unlimited fight
The girls had Athena on their side
Only because she was oh so wise
The battle started at the stroke of ten
As soon as Hades left his den
Chorus:
Although outnumbered they did not fail
Up against the mighty males
With their words and not their fists
They made them cower at their wits
The guys ran first with their mighty cries
A move that was just not that wise
The girls stood firm with their wits and smarts
Waiting for the true battle to start
The boys did slash the boys did strike
A move the girls did not much like
The girls fought back with only their wits
And with some luck they didn’t get hit
Chorus:
Although outnumbered they did not fail
Up against the mighty males
With their words and not their fists
They made them cower at their wits
The girls stood firm and did not tire
But the fighting burned down the guy’s fire
Then the girls brought out there blades
And throw them down into the shade
They forgave the boys ways
Only if they would let them decay
And then they went back to Jemicy
To live together in perfect harmony
Chorus:
Although outnumbered they did not fail
Up against the mighty males
With their words and not their fists
They made them cower at their wits
