Bad Luck

Black cats with broken mirrors smile widely.
Under ladders comes with falling hazards.
On Fridays with a killer who smiles slyly.
Be sure to stay away from the taverns.

Horseshoes with four-leaf clovers are no help.
Believe in luck and cross your fingers too.
Before their cries erupt and make you yelp.
This time no one will come to comfort you.

Unicorns and Leprechauns are just tales.
Yet, pure hearts and rainbows are real as flesh.
With unlucky steps, you fall off the rails.
Too bad your holy cross was never blessed.

Hammers and mirrors do not combine well.
The black cats are jumping and looking swell.
