Back Again Teach

Location

We are all here, coming back

although we don't get any slack.

I do what you say with out a break,

heck this ain't no piece of cake.

Quizzes and tests are drowning me,

and I can't swim in this flat white sea.

No talking, gaming, texting, drawing, or having fun

trapped in cold hard seats we don't even see the sun.

You say "Read your books, do your work, write you notes.

I dismiss you, not the bell. Don't leave behind your coats."

last bell rings, you let us out, we rush on out to the lot

jump in our trucks and head on home, straight to our cots.

Lessons with you Teach may be a snore,

but we know better than to fall asleep, and wake up to, a storm.
