Germany is a culture

 that features the new

 and the old. With new and

 old values,

 the culture of Germany

 is one of innovation 

and strength. 

I have spent

 the last several weeks

 studying Germany

 and learned all

 about the culture.

 My name is Nathaniel Eaton

 and I want to teach all

 of you about Germany. 

Climate change is currently a major political issue

 and it is especially in Germany. 

In Germany

 people actively want climate change measures

 and it is a popular belief

 to have more measures against global warming. 

Germany has many values, 

traditions and activities. 

Germany has plenty of

 family run businesses 

that have been in the family

 for generations

 and they also are very vocal

 with their support of the lqbtq+. 

Travel is very important in Germany 

with so many available planes 

and travel ways. 

Board games are also 

very popular in Germany

 and Germany is one of the

 top suppliers of them.

These holidays are some of the 

most important days or weeks of the year. 

Christmas, 

May Day 

and Oktoberfest are a huge part of 

Germany’s traditions and their culture.

German Unity Day 

is a very important day for Germany

 for the country.

 It celebrates the country becoming united 

after the divide between the east and west.

 People gather together celebrating

 being together without having

 to be trapped by the walls. 

Bratwurst is classic German food. 

They are found all over the streets

 and are some of the 

most popular German foods.

 The classic pork sausage
can be mixed with anything to 

create a very delicious meal. 

The national german dish is sauerbraten.

 The meat is cooked perfectly 

and often takes several days to marinate.

 It is often served with gravy 

and mashed potatoes. 

The dish is all over Germany

 and is a fan favorite.

Beethoven is one of the 

most well known composers in music history.

 He revolutionized classical music

 and brought it to new heights. 

His nine symphonies are still

 well renowned to this day.

 He was born in Germany 

and shaped the culture of German

 classical music around him. 

Schlager music is huge in Germany.

 It is a new style of folk music

 that handles emotions. 

The music is often lighthearted though

 and features a lot of upbeat beats.

 This music is a major part of German culture

 being a new paint coat over their history

 and their emotions.

Sports in Germany 

are one of the most

 popular pastimes there, 

Germany’s favorite sport has to be soccer 

and they always are competitive 

when it comes time to play

 in the world cup.

Tennis since its start 

has always been a major sport in Germany. 

Germany has the largest tennis sports federation 

in the world and

 is known for its dominance in the 1970s-1980s. 

Germany is well known for their car industry. 

Countless car companies have started in Germany
and create countless cars here.

 German car brands are often known for their innovation

 and their security. 

Tesla recently has built a gigafactory in Germany.

 It created countless jobs 

and shows the importance of the car industry in Germany.

 It is huge for the economy 

and the German car industry. 

Awed has been a long 

and stressful project for me so far. 

I have learned quite a bit throughout this time.

 My original idea for my visual project failed miserably

 and had to scrap that.

 My best advice is cutting cardboard is not fun

 and having to cut 100+ cardboard puzzle pieces is not

 exactly reasonable.

 They also probably would have not all fit in together 

and that would suck. 

So moving on from that,

 I just got a puzzle.

 Made it a whole ton easier 

because painting is much easier on these kinds of pieces. 

Though I would not say 

My painting is exactly good either. 

Probably a skill I need to work on.

 I found a way for the puzzle to stick together

 and after countless coats of paint,

 The puzzle finally looked like the German flag.

 I then built

 other major parts of their culture

 for it to sit on the puzzle. 

Especially the car, 

kinda happy how that turned out.

 Awed made me realize how bad my time management really was.

 With my life getting busy,

 I ultimately struggled to get the whole project together somewhat on time. 

Play rehearsals really made it tough 

during the week to work on the project. 

Had to miss too many naps working on this project. I learned a lot while

 doing this project. 

From learning about the many aspects of German culture 

to learn about my ability to actually create things. 

Germany is a country

 that focuses plenty on innovation 

and time knowledge 

and man was I only good at one of those.
