Away With The Wind.
The snow is melting but it’s still cold, inside, not out.
I’m freezing over once again because the one person
I called my friend has turned their back again.
She smells of success but when your eyes
Meet you can spot the obvious...
The, the stains in her dress
Her soul is upset by the confusion of lust and passion.
The lies that were told and put into action
She see’s past the pain but how can she
Forget when the pain is here to stay,
When the pain won’t go away?
When the pill bottles are calling her name, screaming,
“I love you, I Love You.” And she answers with the most
Innocent smile you’d ever seen,
“You’re the one that makes me sleep”.
But suddenly her eyes begin to stream,
So many pills have made it seem all dandy
When this was just a dream she won’t wake up from.
This was that cold night where her finger tips freeze,
Her lips turned blue, and her soul is taken at ease
By the breeze of an everlasting end. Her family rushes to see,
“Is this my baby? Could it really be?”
Her father falls to his knees.
GOD PLEASE BRING HER BACK TO ME!
She’s dead and gone, no longer a melody or a song.
Just a memory that carry’s on.
She was beautiful, she was grace,
And she was in charge of her own fate.
But death isn’t by fate, it’s assigned to the ones
Who try and get away with thinking it’s okay to play god.
It’s given to all you helpless little nothings below that redline.
The ones only God could forgive for the
Hurt your family now has to live with.
