The Awakening

Somewhere along the line we taint our souls with the sins of the world and lose the innocence we were blessed with at birth. The more we try to retrieve this purity the more our dreams are broken upon the surf. We must see past our imperfections and unbind ourselves from the media's standards and societal hierarchy. We are all imperfect creatures, bliss deprived, trapped in an anti-catalytic realm of discontent by those who wish us destroyed but, our awakening is near. Our generation will herald a world anew free from hate, jealousy, and fear; A world of peace and love. This is a time of dreamers and in essence to dream with eyes wide open, to let imagination roam wild and free. To drown out our days of bondage and bury them in the sea, for the time has come to expand our horizon. To divide and conquer? No, to unite and rebuild. To fight the good fight. To have faith and seek the light. To run; to fight; to fly; to sing; to live; to cry and pursue our dreams. After all, we are all humans in search of kindred company and kindred souls we must seek, for ignorant isolationism has been our downfall but through enlightened existentialism we shall find the key. All I ask of you, The children of this newborn millennium, is that you dare to dream, to break the norm, to laugh and to sing, to love and behold, to help the young and the old, to embrace the bright and the new, to look in the mirror and love the "real" you.
