The Avacado
Have you ever observed an Avocado?
How sincere and green they seem to be,
How pleasantly honest they seem to me,
Without any false sense of bravado.
Avocados will not judge you.
They see that they don't see
What ill effects cause you and me
To have the flaws we do.
My! What good friends they seem to make!
How could I not have seen before
That such a character is sure
Never to be a flaky fake.
What Man wants is honesty!
For to spend one's self on worry and fear,
Lest one be duped by the insincere,
Will only pain one heartily.
To me the World's greatest woe
Lies in that there are found so few
Of those who truly do pursue
The virtues of Avacado.
