Autumn Part 2

Location

A gentle rain taps on my window.

Bits of sunlight peek through cloud curtains

And dance around my room.

The blankets hold me in their warm embrace.

A furry greeting nuzzles my hand

And brings me back with a meow.

I manage to shake myself awake;

I pray these days never end.
