Autism Puzzle

Puzzle pieces

Trying to solve the complicated mystery

Putting pieces where they don’t belong

One piece is smaller then it needs to be

One piece is bigger than it needs to be

One piece is awkwardly fitting in

Desperately digging through other boxes to see if there is a similar piece

It is close, but it doesn’t fit right

All of this is difficult to get the puzzle finished

Knowledge, Skill, and Patience will get you to the finish line

Although you can overcome this,

Putting the pieces together takes time

Like solving a mystery, it can be puzzling like a puzzle

Seeing children suffer from this horrible, uncurable disease

Hearing cries of people who need immediate help

Prayers to help them get through this major crisis

Smiling to cover up the trail of tears hidden away from the world

Suffering with the one you love so dearly, to help them get better

Ambitious minds to find a cure

Trying to fit in with society’s unwritten rules

Being responsible for someone who isn’t your responsibility

Making someone to work to their full potential so they can be the best person the can be

Putting others in front of yourself

Finally the pieces all fit forming a puzzle

Isn’t that wonderful?

I found that time can heal most anything, and you just be patient

Anyone can be normal, but it takes someone special to be autistic
