The Attorney
The Call
You made me laugh
in your witty way
so much so that
you are still
with me today
Haven’t had a muse
since I can
remember
better I stay still
silent and suffer
The Crush
It fell on me
like fairy dust
absorbed through
my heart and soul
I had forgotten
what it felt like
to sense the rush
the push and pull
Although he is
far away and
I am a fool
I feel the crush still
The Burn
I continued to
make an ass
out of myself
trying to
let go
still clinging
onto
the edge
of the ledge
as a client
I am rendered
“dormant”
like a bug
I hope
a Lady Bug
my sliding
glass doors
are open
Spring is
in the air
but I still
feel
the burn
The Mail
You’ve
got
Remember
that
feeling
Seeing
that
name
Saying
you’re still
connecting
The Client
There is that
level of trust
one obtains
as the client
Turns out
that relationship
is complex
and perplexing
The client
affects a
sense of
security
And the
lines can
get blurred
at best
When
the client
becomes
obsessed
The Sensuous Woman
When I was
a young girl
I went through
my mother’s
underwear
drawer
and in her
sexiest bits
I found
a book
The Sensuous Woman
and my life
changed
forever
The Attorney
Virility and
vitality of
the attorney
jinxed me
while
exuding caring
compassion with
wily wisdom
As the fresh
Spring breeze
blows through
new green leaves
warm sunlight
flickers on these
the attorney
lingers in
my dreams
