Ask Questions

Growing up very influential, I didnt have an original thought

I listened to the ideas of others and like them I believed

Never even questioned it

Most of the ideas seemed right

Most of the ideas sounded right

Never even questioned it

I was thought there was two sides--a red and blue

I thought by siding with the blue, thinking I was smarter than the red.

This is what I've been taught by the media, by the people and the environment

Never even questioned it

It wasn't till I actually looked it up

Discovered things on my own allowing me to see it from a different prespective

Listening to people who were against the many

Seeing how they view the world and why people don't want to hear them.

These people made the most sense

And because they made the most sense people questioned them

They always had an answer. That answer was often right

Never should of questioned them

They shaped my way of thinking.

But thinking differently, comes with consequences.

Lost out on love, friends, and others due to having an "unpopular opinion

It'll be fine, I'm sure of it because now I'm speaking out against these two sides

They're both wrong

That should be questioned.
