Ashore

They say the waters safe, you trust with blind faith

The epiphany hits, and now your souls been raped

It’s too late, you’re trapped under the tide

And now they laugh as they have stolen your pride

Left there to cast away into the sea of souls

Of which the rich men reaped, for their own goals

That’s what life is, nothing but a mere lie

Why should I even try?

The rich gain cash

As the poor feeds off trash

Theres only one way to win this charade, this design

It’s time to rise up and take whats mine

For they won’t hush me away

I won’t listen to the things they say

I’ll follow my own path, won’t be no slave

For now I have beaten their wave
