Ashes, Ashes

Ashes, Ashes, they all fall to the ground/ Where is God? Where is he they all cry out!/ Memories branded, familie not found,/ "God is not with us" many of them shout!/ A sequence of numbers etched in blue/ A reminder that will not fade away/ They have no name, just a wandering Jew/ Although they're gone, their stories to stay/ Images of death and his reigning power,/ There is no end to the pain he has caused/ As they stand in his shadow and cowerd/ until the rescue comes they cease to pause/ Ashes, Ashes, the gray snow is falling/ "Where is God? Where is he?" They are calling.
