You hate the color of my skin, but if you say you don't

You hate my religion, but if you say you don't

You hate my politics, but if you say you don't

You hate my sexuality, but if you say you don't

You hate my thoughts, but if you say you don't

You hate my choices, but if you say you don't

You hate...

For this body of flesh and bone it matters not what you hate

What matters  is that even when there is nothing left of me

my ashes will still love you.
