Artist's Point of View

An artist is someone who sees beauty in the ordinary

The street lamps and sweaters

An artist is someone who can admire the moon's faint light as it falls over a barren field

The brown dirt, tossed and rough in some places and smooth in others

An artist is someone who sees colors in ways you could never imagine

The different shades of flesh in every freckle

And the ring of yellow in your Georgia blue eyes

An artist is someone who not only notices these things

But can help you to notice them too.
