Are we Sheep?

Location

Animals all alike awake as the dawn breaks

The mother cleans the lamb

And up and awake was little Sam

Bits and milk he drank

But oh boy did he stank

A stream of water cleansed him

And his long hair got a little shaving

It was just yesterday he got a shot

And then he was carried off

The fence and the gate were in front of him

They always sent a message that seemed grim

The Shepherds did not to bark

Because Sam was smart

He went through and past the fence

And at the gate he was sensed

A machine checked him for metal

And he was inspected for anything that might be lethal

Sam was clear and so were all of his peers

When the thorough inspection was finished at last

He finally arrived and was in class
