Appreciation ...

Galatians 3:3 New King James Version (NKJV)Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?Appreciation ...

The old creation ... that is in me

the old self I mean.

The natural ... body and soul

the ones that are never free.

It does not mind the good I do

it lets me preach ... pray and sing

bible study and benevolence

and worship God ... The King.

My “old” creation is so good

it will never submit to Him.

As long as it is permitted

to be active and live with Him.

My flesh remains unshaken

in the belief of its own ability.

And so serving God in the flesh

meets with total futility.

“Leading” folk to Christ through “flesh”

fills it with satisfaction.

To its own glory such as

changing God’s Grace.

Misplacing the gift of redemption

from true reality

and the one so brought to God

will not understand His Place.

As God starts to change me

through His Spirit and transformation,

I crept in unaware

and I thought to be of His Making.

And as "my will"roams and decides

for its hungered destination.

I credit My Lord for my vision and pride

as I think blessings for the taking.

I stumble on happy as I’m doing “His” will.

Blind as a bat as most of the truth I kill.

My own destination and my self-trust

will help me to serve fully for that is a must.
