The Apple

The apple falls
Not far from the tree--
Or so they say.
But if you ask me,
The apple falls
Without intentions of straying,
Though how can it fight the force of the wind?
How can it fight the dips and turns of the hills and valleys scattered in its path?

It can try.

It won't succeed.

It's just an apple.
